Will Aid Initiative a Lasting Success

Throughout November, we teamed up with Will Aid to offer a free will writing service for local residents, helping people to protect their future and that of their families.
Sara Jane Chorkley from our Burnley office, and Dawn Walmsley from the Colne office, led the initiative by producing basic wills for customers throughout the month.
The suggested donation to Will Aid for this service was £90. This represented a 50% cost saving versus the normal price of a basic will. Furthermore, mirrored wills were offered for couples, with a suggested donation of just £150.
Not only did customers get a new will written for a fraction of the price, Will Aid also teamed up with The Law Society to include free will registration in the deal, usually priced at £25. This ensured that every will created under the scheme received official registration.

A substantial amount was raised for these very worthy causes by the team, and we are immensely proud to have been involved in the initiative. This not only allowed us to help Will Aid raise money, it also helped local residents plan for the future, and safeguard their family assets.
