As you may recall, DRN Solicitors celebrated our 100th anniversary in April…
In celebration of this, we are proud to have recently hosted a summer ball at The Crow Wood Hotel & Spa to commemorate our impressive milestone, thank our associates, and raise funds for two local charities close to our hearts.
The event, which brought together 250 guests, included a three-course dinner, lively entertainment, and generous fundraising activities. It was a resounding success, raising £6,050 through a live auction and £2,450 through an exciting raffle, totalling an impressive £8,560 for charity.
These funds will be split equally between Pendleside Hospice and Burnley FC in the Community, two charities close to our hearts and those of the local community.
The evening, hosted by MC Andy Ashworth, also featured outstanding entertainment and performances, including music from the 80s band Hello Felix, acclaimed opera singer Sean Ruane, two captivating magicians, and a DJ.
David Lawson, our Director, commented, “We are incredibly proud of the reputation we’ve built throughout the local community here in Lancashire, and the ball was the perfect opportunity to give back to many of those who have played a part in our journey. For us, it was a night of celebration, gratitude, and generous giving that will be remembered for many years to come.
“A huge thank you to all who attended and to those who helped organize the event. We are also immensely grateful to the two charities, Pendleside Hospice and Burnley FC in the Community, for their incredible work supporting people through some of their darkest times and helping to better the lives of people living in and around Burnley.”
