Amanda was recruited by Donald Race and Newton in December 2016, following a successful time at a large regional firm based in North Yorkshire where she was instrumental in the development of the firm’s commercial property department.
Having originally qualified in 1990 after completing her training with Frere Cholmeley based in the City of London, Amanda then proceeded to spend four years working in both London and Paris,
specialising, while in the UK, in commercial property work. Marriage brought her back North and she subsequently worked for large scale, national firms, Hammonds Suddards and Walker Morris, based in Manchester and Leeds.
Hugely experienced in all aspects of commercial property work, including sales and purchases; landlord and tenant matters; option agreements; conditional contracts; development work; refinancing and both asset and share sales, Amanda has a level of expertise rarely seen outside a city environment. Amanda works closely with Donald Race and Newton’s corporate/company department, further enhancing the commercial provision of the Company.
