  1. Business Over Brie, Charity Cheese and Wine Tasting a Huge Success

On Thursday 4th April, we celebrated our move to Ramsbottom to join JonSimon Estate Agents on Bolton Road with a charity cheese and wine tasting, free to all local businesses.

We raised £510 for Rossendale Hospice in a charity auction that was held on the night and during some good old-fashioned games including Heads and Shoulders. Prizes included:

    ●      Burnley FC corporate box tickets

    ●      A signed Burnley FC shirt

    ●      A meal for two at The Mouse Trap, Ramsbottom

Hosted by The Mouse Trap in Ramsbottom, the night was an ideal opportunity for local businesses to get together for some casual networking and delicious food and drink.

Guests at the complimentary evening event were treated to a variety of wines and port, which were matched with an array of different mouth-watering cheeses to taste and match with the wines. Throughout the night, games were played to break the ice, including a wine tasting guessing game that had participants guessing the wines they were drinking.

David Lawson, Director at DRN said:

“This event was a fantastic way to meet some of the great businesses in Ramsbottom and the local. We would like to thank our corporate sponsors for their donations and prizes and we’d also like to thank The Mouse Trap in Ramsbottom for hosting us in their beautiful venue and offering such a delicious selection of cheese and wines for us to try. We’re thrilled that we’ve managed to raise so much for such an important and well-loved local charity.”
