Make making a Will one of your New Year’s resolutions

Is making a Will one of those things you know you have to do, but somehow never get round to doing? If so, you’re not the only one.

But putting off making a Will can be a huge mistake, and can put your family and loved ones at risk. Without a Will, you have no say in what happens to your money and property after you’ve gone. This could mean that loved ones don’t inherit a penny, which is especially true where you have children by a previous marriage or if you are cohabiting. If you have children, then by making a Will you also have the opportunity to appoint Guardians for them in the event of your death. If you want to protect your children and loved ones by making a Will, call us now and ask to speak to Sara Jane, Kate or Neil at our Burnley Office (01282 433241), or Jean at our Colne office (01282 864500). We never charge for initial advice given over the phone.
