A violent paedophile who amassed a personal fortune from a care home business in North Wales was recently convicted of 33 sex offences against children in his care between 1968 and 1991. According to a report in the Times by 1988 his company was running 11 homes in Wales , Cheshire and Shropshire with an annual turnover of 2.7 million and was paying himself more than 200k per year. As a consequence he may receive a life term upon his sentence.
