Donald Race & Newton continues to expand its services with the opening of its new-dedicated commercial office, offering specialist commercial legal advice to local and national businesses.

The firm, which has been providing legal support to clients in Burnley and Pendle for over 90 years, has long represented some of the region’s top businesses, and in recent years has seen demand for its commercial services soar.

David Rogers, a DRN partner who will be based at the new office, on the Network 65 Business Park, said: “Over the last few years there has been an increased demand for our commercial services as our reputation for excellence has grown.

“Businesses are realising that we can deliver the same level of expertise as a city firm, but with the personal touch and affordability you only find at a local high street firm.

“Our new specialist commercial office will enable us to meet the increasing demand, whilst continuing to provide our clients with the expert and cost-effective legal advice which they have come to expect from Donald Race & Newton.”

Despite the tough current economic climate, the firm continues to buck the trend. The firm puts its success down to a combination of dedicated and experienced lawyers, and its focus on client care.

Helen Ingham, head of commercial property and partner, said: “Our commercial department has gone from strength to strength in recent years as our reputation has grown and I think that our success is largely down to our loyal clients, who return to us time and again and recommend our services.

“Our clients trust us to provide consistently outstanding legal support, and our new office will allow us to continue to do this, with the added convenience for Commercial clients of easy motorway access and ample car parking.

“The new office will provide legal support and advice to businesses of all sizes, from new start-ups to established national companies. Our aim is to provide businesses with all the legal support they will ever need, under one roof.”

David Rogers will continue to concentrate in the field of employment law and commercial litigation. He said: “Our Employers’ Support Scheme, which provides unlimited specialist employment law advice for a fixed monthly charge, has been a great success, and I’m hoping to devote more time to this service as its popularity continues to grow.”

The firm offers many of its services at a fixed fee, with flexible payment options available.
