DRN’s strength in efficient and effective property transactions has been enhanced by two additions to the conveyancing team
Legal professionals Joanne Haselden and Angela Brown have joined the department during an exciting period of development for the business.
Starting as solicitor specialising in crime, Joanne switched to conveyancing during 2015 and joined DRN earlier in 2017.
Commenting on her new role, Joanne said:
‘The opportunity to work in Burnley town centre at one of the region’s most established and renowned firms was one I was looking forward to.
‘Although I’m relatively new to conveyancing, my wider experience and knowledge coupled with my organisation will prove an asset to the team.’
By contrast, associate legal executive Angela’s experience spans 25 years of residential conveyancing for various firms in the area.
Highlighting what qualities she brings to her position, she said:
‘I pride myself on maintaining good relationships with my clients, many of whom return to use my services regularly.
‘The various aspects I provide assistance on include everything from house sales and purchases to remortgages and transfers of equity.’
Customer focused conveyancing
Expressing the strategic reasons behind the two new appointments, commercial property specialist Amanda Ashby commented:
‘Because so many firms offer conveyancing services, often at vastly discounted rates compared to solicitors fees, customers could assume it’s easy – it isn’t.
‘Conveyancing can be a complex process, requiring clear understanding of processes and terminology, plus the ability to make customers feel comfortable.
‘This blend of specialist expertise and people skills isn’t easy to find – in Angela and Joanne, we’re pleased to secure the services of two such professionals.’
