A 2017 Recap and What’s Coming in 2018

2017 has been an interesting year for DRN, with many exciting new developments taking place.
We opened our Ramsbottom office, led by Gareth Seddon. With Gareth’s influence in the local business community and his connections in the sports world, this was a key factor in establishing a presence quickly in the Ramsbottom area.
Throughout the year we have also welcomed several new starters into the business. An important step as we continue our period of growth.
It was a landmark year for our solicitor, Nick Dearing, who became a Notary Public – an internationally recognised public office. Having access to a Notary Public is crucial for businesses operating internationally. A Notary Public can legalise documents for international trade, such as, Certificates of Incorporation, Articles of Association and Certificates of Good Standing.
Behind the scenes, we have been developing our branding and marketing in partnership with design agency, Root Fifty Two. We have developed new colour schemes and straplines for each department. A new website is also in development, which we look forward to launching in 2018.
Over the last few months we have held numerous initiatives. In November, we teamed up with Will Aid to offer a free will writing service. This raised a substantial sum for the Will Aid charity and enabled many local residents to get a basic will in return for a small donation.
On the approach to Christmas, we invite all staff and locals to donate gifts to be given to young carers. The Young Carers Project Team within BPRCVS supports carers aged 7-18, who typically care for family members with mental health and / or substance misuse issues.
On Friday 15th of December we got involved in Christmas Jumper Day which is an initiative from Save the Children. Our team made a fantastic effort and raised money for a very worthy cause.
Children’s charities such as Save the Children and The Young Carers Project are close to our hearts, thanks to the great work our Family Department does handling children matters all year round.
Coming in 2018, as mentioned, is our new website. A key feature of the new site will be the introduction of an online conveyancing quotation service. Property sellers will be able to enter basic details of their proposed sale into the website, then receive a quotation for our conveyancing services.
We are heavily invested in developing our services for customers, and we’ll be championing further new innovations to improve your experience of working with us in the future.
From all the team here at DRN, we wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
